[Kaohsiung News] Kaohsiung's soft power glitters again on the international stage! The latest issue of the renown American "Time Magazine" released the World's Greatest Places 2019 list, including the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying), which makes Weiwuying the first Taiwan attraction to be on the list and the pride of Taiwan.

Weiwuying is built aiming to be an art center for all people. It is speaking up for Taiwan with cultural soft power, and has also become a significant platform for linking Taiwan with international culture world. It has successfully attracted many foreign tourists and international performers to visit. In order to continue enriching cultural elements, Kaohsiung is going to have a unique Maritime Cultural & Popular Music Center ready in 2020. It is located at the intersection of the Love River and Kaohsiung Port with ushering urban style and future trends, and will turn Kaohsiung into an Asia-Pacific pop music creation and performance center as well as International oceanic culture exchange Platform.

Recently, Kaohsiung continued making efforts to invite internet celebrities to promote tourism. Among them, Korean model Junghwan & Dani also designated to visit the Weiwuying National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts. The center impressed them, and with full of expectation for the future Maritime Cultural & Popular Music Center, they said they would definitely visit Kaohsiung after its launch next year.
