Berkeley, CA (October 15, 2018) – Untold Rebel launched a Kickstarter campaign for the world’s most comfortable socks with a cause. Unveiling the first ever premium socks with a mix and mismatch concept that’s packed with features.“I use to choose between my fun, vibrant socks that would stink at the end of the day or sports socks that have all the functions I needed but lacked style and color. I didn’t want to sacrifice one over another,” said co-founder Wen King. “We wanted to bring the world beautifully designed socks that have the functions of performance socks. We invested two years in research and development and focused as much on superior quality as well as trendsetting design.”
Integrating bold patterns with engineered comfort, Untold Rebel socks are equipped with five main tech features. They include:
* 200 needle combed cotton – knit with soft combed cotton using the highest quality needle count for extra durability
* Antimicrobial tech – proven anti-odor tech that’s still 99% effective even after 30+ washes
* Cozy terry – zoned terry cushioning in the heel and toe that help wick moisture and keep feet dry all day long
* Arch compression – helps promote blood circulation

“We believe that art and design holds a special ability to draw attention and raise awareness,” said co-founder KK Lin. “That’s why we donate 10% of net profits to causes that inspire our designs.” After the initial production release in 2019, donations will go directly to educational field trips through the nonprofit, Donors Choose. “Because this first season’s designs are inspired by travel, we wanted to provide the opportunity for students to experience the global classroom, much as we have,” continued Lin.
