The Maids Franchises to Participate in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Several Cleaning franchises took a pledge to participate in the Making Strides Walk to benefit The American Cancer Society.

— Several The Maids franchises, including The Maids Worcester, The Maids South Shore, The Maids South Coast, The Maids Massachusetts, The Maids New Hampshire, The Maids North Andover, and The Maids Medaway have recently announced that they will partake in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which will happen in Boston on October 5th.

The 5-mile walk, which will take place at Boston’s Hatch Shell along the Charles River Esplanade, is intended to benefit The American Cancer Society and everyone affected by breast cancer. To date, about 316 teams and 950 participants have raised $84,089. This number is only expected to grow as new participants register for the challenge and donate funds.

The Maids core value is to benefit the local community, and their dedication to the exceptional services that they offer across the nation is not the only proof of that. Not only do they actively participate in public events that are happening within their service areas, but they also try to make a bigger impact by getting involved with national non-profit organizations.

To increase their input into the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, The Maids introduced a special contest that will offer an opportunity to win a year of free house cleaning. Walk participants who register online and raise $300 by October 1st will automatically be entered into a drawing.
