Runway 2 Life is excited to announce the details of their second annual fashion show. The event will take place on October 12th, 2018 at the Main Street Station in Richmond, Virginia. General admission and VIP tickets are $45 and $150 respectively, and each can be purchased at runway2life.com. Doors will open at 7:00 P.M., and proceeds from the show will help continue the conversation and grow Runway 2 Life’s educational programs around mental illnesses.“I was inspired to put this show on because of my experience seeing the people around me disappear because of their struggles with mental illnesses and depression. Instead, we want to create hope, awareness, encouragement, and education to help you live the life you want to live,” says Alicia Amsler, Runway 2 Life’s Director.
Runway 2 Life is a non-profit that is working to raise awareness and education around mental illness and suicide with continuous educational programs funded by an annual fashion show. NAMI Virginia, the state chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness is a community resource which has partnered with Runway2Life to build programs to help educate more people on the signs of mental illness and suicide.

Amsler went on to say, “Last year’s event surpassed expectations, and for a ‘first-time’ event we were blown away by the amount of support. However, we are not slowing down. We are vamping things up this year, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone there as we rally around such an important cause.”
