Ray Sasser is a former President of the Realty Investment Club of Houston. Currently, he and his brother, Audie, operate Race Properties. They have been active house buyers in the Houston Market for over 25 years. They buy, sell and rehab houses while managing properties for themselves and others. They have successfully completed hundreds of transactions. Ray is also a Principal with Lin Ray Mentoring, mentoring students in the art of real estate investing.The Realty Investment Club of Houston, established in 1979, is a non-profit trade association serving the real estate investment community of the greater Houston area. RICH is one of the largest real estate investor associations in the country. Its goal is to promote sensible real estate investments and responsible property and project management while promoting sound, ethical business practices. Members include full- and part-time investors and everyone from accountants to attorneys. RICH Club empowers real estate investors with training and tools to create wealth through real estate investing in Houston by providing:

The most anticipated meeting of each month is the RICH Main Event And Trade Show held on the first Saturday of each month. This event features guest speakers--municipal leaders, business professionals, academic personnel and experienced real estate experts--to discuss current trends and events that may have an impact on the real estate world.
Last September David Lazarus, Marketplace.org said: “Houston’s real estate market is one of the strongest in the nation. Major expansion in the energy industry helped the city’s economy generate some 100,000 new jobs over the last year. That expansion, with the large number of energy company employees being transferred to Houston, has injected a lot of momentum into the housing market.” The increased demand, higher interest rates and requirements of lending organization makes it critical for investors to be well-informed and have the necessary skills to be successful in today's market.
RICH provides the knowledge and tricks-of-the-trade needed to navigate in today’s market. February’s Main Event And Trade Show is scheduled for 2/1/2014 at RICH Club Conference Center, 4220 Lockfield St., Houston TX 77092. Registration if from 8AM to 9AM, general meeting is 9AM to 12:30PM. First time guests are free, otherwise it’s $30. Preregistration is not required, but everyone can do so at the event information page.
