Robert, better known as Ramsey Rob is a hip hop artist from Modesto, CA. Ramsey Rob had an interview with a journalist who took the story and added a twist to it. The press release mentioned that Ramsey Rob deprived all of the basic human needs as a child but that is not true. Although Ramsey did have a hard childhood growing up and his family did struggle a lot with being homeless at one point, his parents did provide him and his siblings with everything they needed.The previous article also mentioned that he had no new shoes and clothes and barely had any food to eat. This isn’t true. Ramsey did have new clothes and shoes, but it wasn’t anything name brand, and he often shopped at Walmart for his clothing, Ramsey was able to have new things when they were needed. At a mere age of 12, wrote his first song inspired by Eminem and continued writing more songs. He never told anyone about the songs he wrote until he was 15 years old. The previous article said, “no one appreciated him when he showed off his music and had no support” Although he had no support from his friends, He did have A LOT of support from his family members including his parents, siblings and even his cousins. Because of their support, he stayed active and kept writing more music. He slowly started buying recording equipment after getting a job at a restaurant, where he barely made minimum wage.
After getting the recording equipment he started to record songs and videos, he shot his first video at the age of 26, which was instantly liked by the locals of Modesto, CA. As time went by, he improved his quality of production and the lyrics, which made him likeable even more, those who didn’t encourage him, they started following him on his social media and started to appreciate him.
With a lot of exertion and hard work, Ramsey got a job as Marketing Director making a pretty well salary, while continuing what he loved, making music. He never quit on his dreams and is still working tirelessly to achieve the results that he wants, which is to push out the best quality content for his fans and to give them something fresh to listen to. He has been doing a lot of hard work since childhood and has overcome the struggles. Ramsey Rob can be the perfect role model for struggling artists, who also aim at achieving the best. He seeks to inspire young people like him and to show them that with continuous hard work, anything can be achieved.
