Project Seashell provides a free one-week family vacation to those who are frequent visitors to areas hit by various natural disasters. The locations are those US areas affected by hurricanes, tropical storms, tsunamis and other natural disasters.

Project Seashell and Stan Applewood, CEO are pleased to announce the launch of their new website and platform designed to help rebuild areas hard hit by natural disasters, through the use of tourism. The program is backed by loyal supporters and by various grants from local government offices. Every year, hundreds of locations around the globe are negatively impacted by hurricanes, tropical storms, tsunamis and other natural disasters. ProjectSeashell.com is designed to help by promoting the return of tourism to such areas in the United States.

The organization is giving away a minimum one-week vacation to families who are previously long-time visitors of the affected areas in the US. ProjectSeashell takes this action to encourage communities to rebuild, visitors to continue to return, and local businesses to look forward to tourism once again returning to the affected area. The actions of the organization have been featured on ABC, FOX, CBS, and NBC, as well as other major news outlets. Reports from the news outlets and messages from business owners and residents of devasted cities show that the Seashell project is working.

Stan Applewood spoke to an interviewer recently, "If you or someone you know, is a regular visitor to a location in the United States which has been hit by natural disaster, and is in the rebuilding phase, visit our website to determine if you qualify. The demographics of recipients have been selected by our Board of Directors and the questions on the platform will help to make a determination of the validity of the applicant's claim. Results are known within a few minutes of the submission. "No personal information or credit card is needed from you" he continues, "and no payment is required to be awarded or to determine if you are qualified. If you are awarded the vacation stay, please understand that the community that you visit may not be fully rebuilt. Local businesses that you are accustomed to visiting may not yet be open due to the destruction, and/or delay of proper funding from government agencies. However, the location has been fully inspected and determined to be safe for travelers before a family is sent."
