Project Seashell and Stan Applewood, CEO are pleased to announce the launch of their new website and platform designed to help rebuild areas hard hit by natural disasters, through the use of tourism. The program is backed by loyal supporters and by various grants from local government offices. Every year, hundreds of locations around the globe are negatively impacted by hurricanes, tropical storms, tsunamis and other natural disasters. ProjectSeashell.com is designed to help by promoting the return of tourism to such areas in the United States.The organization is giving away a minimum one-week vacation to families who are previously long-time visitors of the affected areas in the US. ProjectSeashell takes this action to encourage communities to rebuild, visitors to continue to return, and local businesses to look forward to tourism once again returning to the affected area. Reports from the news outlets and messages from business owners and residents of devasted cities show that the Seashell project is working.
