Authorized Access, the Bury-based Master Locksmiths, are asking eagle-eyed residents of Bury and Ramsbottom to be on the lookout this month for special keys which have been hidden across the area.Residents who find the keys can then take them into the Authorized Access office on Bolton Street, Bury and see if it will open the prize-filled safe. If the key turns, the lucky finder will be taking home the mystery prize contained within the safe. Authorized Access are running the promotion as a way of thanking their existing customers as well as welcoming new ones. The decision to run a “treasure hunt” style competition was made collectively by the staff team, as they thought it would be an interesting way to raise awareness of the importance of protecting your possessions. As they state on their website, “You may believe ‘it will never happen to me’ but the harsh reality of the matter is that burglaries and cases of fire, are happening to people and businesses every day.”
Michael Dunne, Managing Director at The Safecell Group, the parent company of Authorized Access, said “We are running this competition to show our appreciation to the people of Bury and Ramsbottom for their support over the last few years. Our Master Locksmiths business has gone from strength to strength and without the local support we have received, we would not be where we are today. The key hunt is a fun way of getting people to spend more time looking around the many Bury and Ramsbottom landmarks that we often take for granted, so not only will they be reminded of why this is a great place to live, but they can win some great prizes in the process”.
Connor Marshall, also from The Safecell Group, added, “We will be using our Social Media pages to give people clues to the locations of the keys throughout August, it will be a lot of fun watching families working together to solve clues and win prizes, and the prizes will be worth the effort!”
