The practice is committed to the local community and wants to support the community where it has established and grown its business.Dr. Josh Todd of Elite Endodontics in Pensacola, FL started seeing patients for the Health and Hope Clinic in April of 2021. In a typical month, he treats 2-3 patients on average at no charge. “I am so glad to hear that our patients have worked out well for receiving a root canal by Dr. Todd.” said the Coordinator for Health and Hope Clinic. “This has been a HUGE blessing for our patients. Dr. Todd is the first dentist/endodontist to provide root canals for Health and Hope patients.”

About Health and Hope Clinic
The Clinic was founded in 2003 by the Pensacola Bay Baptist Association to meet the needs of the uninsured and medically underserved in Escambia County, Florida. It was originally planned as a dental clinic, but with dental services and equipment being extremely expensive, a medical clinic was more realistic with available funding. In the early days, there were more volunteers than patients.
Today, hundreds of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and volunteers help provide free health care to the medically underserved of the community.
Since 2003, Health and Hope Clinic has provided over $15,000,000 in healthcare services and 18,000 patient/provider visits. The clinic’s goal is to provide accessible and equitable primary and preventative care to those in need. Health and Hope Clinic relies on the generosity of its contributors and volunteers to accomplish its mission of “providing health and hope to the hurting.”
