The St. Edwards University Rugby Football Club, the 2014 Texas Collegiate Cup Champions, finished its 2014-2015 season with a win over Angelo State in the conciliation match in the Cowboy Cup.
SEURFC was defeated for the first time this season by Colorado School of Mines (Mines) 21-15. The Mines were then defeated in the Cowboy Cup by New Mexico Highland University 48-14 on Sunday, March 22.
Despite the loss, the St. Edwards Rugby Club had a great deal to celebrate and be proud of this year. Here is a list of some of the amazing accomplishments that SEURFC achieved this season:
Named by the National Small College Rugby Club Organization (NSCRCO) the 2014-2015 “Men’s College Club Of The Year”.
Became the first NSCRCO team to defeat a Varsity Cup Team when SEURFC defeated the University of Texas on October 17, 2014.
