Annual Thanksgiving food drive is being hosted by Macomb Township Chiropractic and Dr. Chris McNeil through November 26th.

Macomb Township Chiropractic is hosting its annual Thanksgiving food drive to collect canned goods to donate to Gleaners Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, Now through November 26th. Dr. Chris McNeil, Macomb Township Chiropractic clinic director, does this food drive to help the hungry and those in the community with neck pain, back pain, headaches and disc injuries. Over 15.4% of families in Macomb County suffer from real hunger, which adds up to about 129,220 individuals with approximately 28,000 of those being children.

Dr. McNeil specializes in the Non-Surgical Disc Decompression Therapy and Postural Spinal Rehabilitation which only 1% of chiropractors in the country do. These chiropractic spinal rehabilitation techniques are two of the most scientifically researched and published of all the chiropractic practice techniques. These techniques are very effective in correcting the cause of neck pain, back pain, headaches and disc injuries.

Those who donate 5 cans of food at Macomb Township Chiropractic will be entered in a raffle to win a $50 gift card to Testa Barra or J Baldwin’s restaurant. They will also receive a gift certificate for a Discounted New Patient Package that includes: a new patient consultation, neurological assessment, and a full set of x-rays for only $49, which normally costs up to $300. Dr. Chris said, “The more people in the community we can help with neck pain, back pain, headaches and disc injuries, the more we can give back to those in need as all of the food donated will go to a local food bank.”

After scheduling an appointment at Macomb Township Chiropractic with the gift certificate for the Discounted New Patient Package, the doctor will then sit down to do a detailed consultation including a full health history. Following the consultation, the doctor will proceed with a complete neurological assessment which includes the use of state of the art, NASA published technology that detects nerve interference. Lastly the doctor will take a full set of postural x-rays in the state of the art digital postural x-ray suite.

“Participating in the annual Thanksgiving food drive allows us to help those in the community who are less fortunate and get people who are in pain the much needed relief they deserve,” said Dr. McNeil. Donations can be dropped off at Dr. McNeil’s office at Macomb Township Chiropractic 48866 Hayes Rd, Macomb MI.
