Growing up in a dysfunctional family, where his father's idea of instilling good old-fashioned family values was accomplished with a belt, John Moyer learned at a very young age the importance of developing a good sense of humor. As a successful standup comedian, comedy hypnotist, screenwriter, actor, and radio personality, John turns his own life's experiences into hilarious comedy routines, stage shows and movies. After gaining success as a standup comic John began to branch out into other areas such as screenwriting. His comedy script "The Singles Ward," which was based on his personal life experiences, became a big success. However, even though John would have loved playing the comedy lead in the film, the director decided that John wasn't good enough looking to play himself.
The success of "The Singles Ward" brought John more opportunities, the result being several more of his scripts being turned into movies and some great acting roles. Eventually, his life-long dream of becoming a stage hypnotist was realized in 2012. Combining two decades of award-winning stand up comedy, with amazing improvisational skills and a quick wit, with a fresh and wildly fun comedy hypnosis show, John Moyer creates family-friendly, interactive entertainment that always brings loads of laughs from crowds of all ages.
