MAY 12, 2016 – Carol Landesman is established in Oregon, and has recently revamped her services as a life, health, and wellness coach to cater to individual’s needs. Her new pet bereavement services can now be offered over the telephone or internet, allowing individuals who aren’t in the Oregon area to receive help and support after losing a beloved pet.Carol’s services are generally offered from her home base in Gresham, Oregon. Her extensive experience includes over 35 years as a clinical psychologist, taught at a university, was a consultant for the Los Angeles Police Department and developed her own private practice. Now, Carol has extended her knowledge and her services to include group therapy. Geared towards women and adolescents, group therapy “offers an opportunity to bond, learn, and realize that the person in pain is not alone,” states Carol. “It is a time to reflect and learn from others in a positive an uplifting environment.”
Group therapy sessions vary by gender, age, and topic. An eating, weight, and body image group attends to self-esteem issues and improves relationships with food. A women’s therapy group covers a wide range of life issues for adult women. Here, anxiety, self-esteem, self-image and much more are discussed in a comfortable setting. Carol also offers an adolescent therapy group for ages 14 to 19. A supportive environment is offered where teens can lean coping skills and attend to personal as well as social issues.
Carol’s therapy groups and services continue to be a success as she attends to each individual in a holistic manner.
