Share this news:

Seattle-based, family-run business Everplush continues to push their business forward by achieving the all-important Oeko-Tex Certification.

Everplush is delighted to announce that they have received Oeko-Tex Certification on all of the microfiber fabrics they have for sale. This latest news is another big step forward for the family-run business, which was founded in Seattle, as expansion and growth have been central to their activities since they started producing innovative microfiber products back in 1992.

Oeko-Tex Certification For Everplush
Everplush had previously certified all of its Everplush brand fabrics as Oeko-Tex Standard 100 last December, and this certification means that 100% of the product line available in the US is Oeko-Tex certified. Oeko-Tex carried out an inspection of Everpulsh to ensure that their products in Class 1 met the standards that are in place.

These products include white, disperse dyed and finished products, partly produced with fibers, as well as polyester and recycled polyester with or without antibacterial properties, recycled polyester (made of PET bottles/polyamide), and knitted microfiber fabric made of polyester/polyamide.

After carrying out their assessment, Oeko-Tex declared that the goods mentioned in the above category met with the ecological and human requirements that the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 outlines, which are currently established in Appendix 4 for baby articles.

The articles that have been certified fulfil the requirements in REACH, Annex XVII, which includes everything from nickel release to azo colorant requirements. The requirement in the United States regarding the full content of lead present in children’s articles has also been fulfilled, as well as the Chinese standard GB 18401:2010.

The certification is another step forward for Everplush, acting as a mark of quality and peace of mind for consumers. Everplush is dedicated to ensuring their products are safe and ethical and that they upload their environmental and human responsibility, which this certification is imperative in displaying.

Vertical Manufacturing Ensures Certification Is Valid On All Products
As Everplush is a vertical manufacturer and has full control over the entire production process, they can confidently offer the Oeko-Tex Certification with all of the products they sell.

The company currently operates and owns 13 factors in China, which they have full control over. They do not outsource any of their operations.

The current Oeko-Tex certificate is valid until 7/31/21.
