Deep Powder Tours Prepares for a busy Holiday Season in Japan

Share this news:

Established since 1993, Deep Powder Tours (DPT) have helped hundreds of Australians successfully book and organise ski holidays in some of Japan’s most renown ski destinations.

Deep Powder Tours are a Japan ski holiday booking agency with offices located in both Sydney, Australia and Niseko, Japan.

The managing director or DPT, Dale Goulding, one of Australia's original snow companies in Japan, says there are plenty of bargain options besides Niseko.

Australians are flocking to Japan for their next ski holiday, and snowboarding is not a trend willing to die out any time soon. Australian holiday season is approaching and snow doesn't look promising for Australia as we hit 40 degree days during November. Snow lovers are now taking holiday leave and flying to Japan as the white powder is now falling in Japan.

The Australian dollar has strengthened marginally against the Japanese Yen, which means Australians may be able to grab some great savings just before Christmas. According to skyscanner.com.au and the article on best value destination for this coming Christmas, Japan Niseko is number seven. “You can save up to 20% on the average cost of a flight to some destinations if you fly just before Christmas”.

This winter in Hokkaido, Japan’s northern island and one of Deep Powder Tours main tour destinations, there will be a special kind of winter festival. This winter you could be expected to see ice sculptures, ice waterfalls and blue beer that matches the water. – Herald Sun

"Furano and Tomamu (both on Hokkaido) are still as cheap as chips," says Goulding. "Myoko is cheap, so is Madarao (both on Honshu)." – Dale Goulding to SBS News

As Hokkaido becomes increasingly popular as a skiing destination, Deep Powder Tours are offering Australians a special deal on Furano destination to see the winter festival, try the blue beer and enjoy tweeting ice sculptures.
