Cook's Car Company and Pete Cook are pleased to announce the recent release of an all steal 1933 Ford truck which has been completely rebuilt. Pete rebuilt this vehicle for his own personal interest and enjoyment. But as all enthusiasts know, there comes a time to let go of one and hunt for another. Along with the 1933 Ford is another one of Pete’s favorite hotrods, a 1966 Nova II. Pete says, “I refurbished this 1966 Nova II which I entered into the 2017 Goodguys Show in Spokane Washington. I always take a new build to this event each year. The Nova won a Top Ten Builders' Choice Award and will be pictured in one of the upcoming Goodguys Magazines in 2018. Both of my hotrods are for sale at my used car dealership, Cook's. I also have a good selection of used vehicles, as well as some classic hotrods at certain times of the year. This inventory makes my used car dealership a unique destination in Lewiston, Idaho.”The owner of the company, Pete Cook, has been interested in cars since age ten when he began working in his grandfather’s Lewiston auto repair shop after school. “After three years of sweeping floors, emptying garbage and dumping waste oil” Pete continued, “I managed to save enough earnings to obtain my first vehicle. I also was old enough to obtain a Daylight Driver's License in Idaho. With much help from my dad, I acquired a 1973 Chevelle SS, the first of many cars I owned during my school years.”
When it became time to enter the working world full time, Pete followed his love of cars and chose the automotive field. Pete has held many jobs in the field over the years. The used car dealership which bears the Cook name carries all makes, models and years, but the emphasis is on classic cars.
