Condo Chicks from Stomp Realty Inc., (www.CondoChicks.com), a team of realtors behind some of Toronto’s most prestigious condominium sales, is announcing that founder Erica Smith will appear as a featured real estate professional on the W Network’s Buying the View.Buying the View is a new show that explores top luxury real estate properties in North America that have gorgeous views and skylines. The show follows realtors as they seek world-class properties with beautiful views for their clients, and explores the decision-making process involved in buying million-dollar real estate. The show debuts with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, January 12 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on the W Network.
“As a fan of the show, I’m very pleased to be able to bring my expertise and experience to Buying the View,” says Erica Smith, Broker of Record and founder of Condo Chicks. “At Condo Chicks, we specialize in luxury real estate and condos, so I’m really looking forward to making my debut on a show that is all about the most luxurious real estate properties.”
In each episode, clients are presented with three properties from which to choose. All the properties have stunning views that often become the deciding factor of a sale. The unique emphasis on the views from a property rather than the space itself makes the show stand out since it’s one of the first of its kind.
“One of the most important features with any luxury property is its view,” says Smith. “A lot of real estate shows focus on interiors or renovations, but there haven’t been many that look at this aspect of real estate. The truth is, for many clients who are looking for luxury properties, the view is the top consideration.”
Buying the View showcases luxury properties and views in top destinations throughout North America, including Whistler, British Columbia, and Miami, Florida. While ocean vistas and mountain ranges will be some of the scenic views featured, the debut episode will focus exclusively on Toronto.
“When people think about great views, they think about exotic locations, but Toronto is favoured by many foreign buyers for its beautiful views,” says Smith. “With the lake and the city skyline, you can have a truly stunning view in Toronto if you find the right spot. A lot of Torontonians may be shocked when they watch the show.”
Many real estate shows center on cost-affordable renovations or cheap finds, but Buying the View is showcasing the other side of the real estate market. It features high-end clients with budgets up to the tens of millions.
“High-end clients are looking for a lot of the same things as the average homebuyer,” notes Smith. “There are some differences, but at the end of the day, they’re looking for a place they can feel comfortable in and can call home. The properties may be different, but a lot of people will find it is very similar to their own home-buying experiences.”
Condo Chicks specializes in luxury condominiums and other high-end properties throughout the Toronto area. Having worked in the luxury market for many years, Smith feels that viewers will enjoy this glimpse into the world of high-end real estate.
“This is the first real estate show that really explores this specific angle,” says Smith. “I think people will really like it, and I was just happy to be a part of it and bring my experience from Condo Chicks.”
