Pathway Financial Group announced recently that Alexander (Alec) Jones has completed all the requirements to become a fully licensed Financial Representative.Alec has been employed by Pathway Financial Group since January 2019 as a financial paraplanner. Having passed his series 7 and series 63 exams in September, Alec advances to the title of Registered Representative. These exams allow him to assist new and existing clients with retirement income solutions, financial planning strategies, wealth preservation tools, education savings plans, tax-advantaged investments, and estate and legacy conservation. In addition to the services his new designation allows, Alec is also insurance licensed in Pennsylvania and can assist clients with life and health insurance.
Prior to joining the team, Alec attended Clarion University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Finance, Corporate Finance, and Industry Accounting. During his time at Clarion, he was inducted into Clarion University’s Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was involved in numerous community service events and volunteer opportunities through the Student Honors Association. His previous field experience included working in a variety of positions in long-term care, accounting, and small business development.
Outside of the financial scene, Alec can be found fly fishing in local streams and rivers, as well as practicing his golf game at different courses throughout Lancaster County. Also, Alec serves as a member of several local organizations, including the Northern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce and East Cocalico Lions Club.
