Christopher J. Bridges, a life-long resident of Ascension Parish in Louisiana and an attorney with over 24 years of experience, was recently endorsed by the Ascension Republican Parish Executive Committee (ARPEC). When asked about the endorsement, Christopher “Chris” Bridges replied, “I am honored to accept ARPEC’s endorsement as your next District Court Judge in Division D”.Division D resides within the 23rd Judicial District in Louisiana and covers Ascension, Assumption, and St. James parishes, which encompass the courthouses located in Convent, Donaldsonville, Gonzales, and Napoleonville. Chris built his own successful law practice handling cases in Criminal Defense, Divorce, Estate Planning & Wills, Family Law, and General Civil Litigation. The courts of the 23rd Judicial District handle Civil, Criminal, Divorce, and Family Law cases.
According to the ARPEC website, their organizational mission is to promote a limited government, lower taxes, and a strong national defense that supports individual freedoms for all citizens. By endorsing Christopher J. Bridges for District Court Judge, ARPEC looks to maintain those core values due to the integral role this District judgeship represents to the day to day lives of the residents of this Parish.
In response to Wednesday’s announcement, a spokesman for the campaign said, “We are thrilled to know that Chris’ years of hard work in and around the community is remembered and appreciated by the party he has dedicated his entire life to. Moreover, we as a team have affirmation that Republican residents of the Parish will choose a judge who not only has real world experience, but who will uphold the core beliefs and values of the Republican Party.”
When asked directly about the endorsement, Bridges’ campaign manager said, “As a team, we are really proud to know the committee has chosen to back the right candidate. Experience, demeanor, temperament and beliefs are often lost in translation during the heat of an election cycle, but ARPEC stepped up, asked the hard questions, and chose to put their full support behind the most qualified person for the job with a majority vote.”
