A water main break in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., last week resulted in the city temporarily shutting off its water supply and later issuing a boil order, according to Fox News and other media outlets.Some local stores saw their bottled water supply quickly depleted following the water main break. More than 100,000 people in Ft. Lauderdale and the surrounding areas were expected to be without running water for at least 24 hours.
With August being National Water Quality Month, officials at 4Patriots LLC believe it’s a good time to start thinking about filtering water that comes out of faucets.
