A new website featuring a range of alternative news stories in various categories, both popular and controversial, has been launched by Beyond the Haze.Beyond the Haze, a news source with the intention of revealing the truth about popular and controversial subjects, has announced the launch of its website. The site is a centralized source of alternative news. Stories are the highlight of the homepage and are submitted via posters who can be visitors and regular contributors. Posts are submitted using a simple form and by uploading a document to the webmaster.
On the left-hand sidebar, popular articles are listed, while visitors can sort articles according to their category. Headings such as “Police State”, “Future Tech”, “World War”, “Big Brother”, “Medical Tyranny”, “New World Order”, "Government Corruption”, and “Aliens” exemplify the efforts of the site to reach out to the cynical audience looking for the truth and not just a sugar-coated news story.
The alternative news website is also searchable so users can look up topics which interest them. Visitors can also subscribe to the Beyond the Haze newsletter by entering their email address. Running with the tagline, “Because Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction”, the news provider is a source for rants on the government, speculations in technology, and stories set to the truth regarding military actions and foreign relations.
Other topics covered include personal freedoms and restrictions by government, plus government corruption and news on agencies and their actions, which are not typically covered by mainstream news.
