Thermalabs Mercury Beach Tent has managed to score outstanding star ratings on global e-tailing platform Amazon.com. The product has managed to score a whopping 5-star average rating from over 50 users who have rated it. This is an extraordinary achievement especially considered that the product was launched just six months ago. However, it’s no surprise for Thermalabs. Most of the company’s products have either been top-sellers or have won multiple accolades on Amazon.com.Thermalabs is a premier cosmetics brand based in New York, United States. The company operates a number of production facilities in other parts of the world, including a major factor in Israel. Thermalabs first opened its doors about three years ago, introducing an introductory self-tanner going by the name ‘original tanner’. This was a premium lotion that featured ingredients such as Green Tea and Aloe Vera. Developed after extensive research, the product delivered a proper tan barely four hours post-application. This, combined with an intense marketing run by the company, helped make it an instant hit. Thermalabs pilot launch effectively sold over 10, 000 units in just its first week on the market. This massive success helped attract media attention and establish the foundation for the company that Thermalabs is today. The company has currently availed at least 16 different products to the cosmetics market, most of which are top-quality tanning lotions or accessories.
Thermalabs has in recent years been trying to expand beyond its dominance in self-tanning. The company launched Supremasea, a new sub-brand, in 2015. Headed by Kristina Meyers, Supremasea is tasked with overseeing the production of the company’s private collection of skincare products based on mineral salts from the Dead Sea. Currently, the Mercury Beach Tent is the only product under Tent World that has hit the market.
Critics have been debating the factors that have made Thermalabs beach tent a top performer in the market. The fact that this tent is multi-purpose appears to be working to its advantage. In an attempt to make this product much better than what the competition was providing, Thermalabs designed its tent to be effective at the beach, at the campsite, at the picnic site, in the backyard, and even indoors. The tent is coated with a protective lining that shields users’ skin from harmful rays from the sun. It is also easy to set up and fold.
An Amazon customer who bought Thermalabs beach tent reviewed, “We just returned from a beach vacation where we used this tent every day to shade my 5-month-old baby. It was very lightweight and easy to set-up. Provided adequate shade & the flaps in the back allowed for a nice breeze. I warned my husband before purchasing that it was "super difficult" to fold it back into the bag. He accepted the challenge and was able to get it back into the bag easily on day 3. He probably spent 10 minutes the first day and 5 minutes the second day. Once you figure it out, it comes naturally the next time. My parents bought a large 'tailgate' style tent and carted that thing down each day. I was glad to have our mini version because of the ease of set-up and tear-down.”
