Recently NZ Shred has formed its own team in the Queenstown Social Ice Hockey League over at the Queenstown Ice Arena. For the 2013 season NZ Shred has decided to bring back their hockey team.The games are played on Sunday nights with a start time of 6:30PM. NZ Shred resurrected their old hockey uniforms and put together a team of girls and guys. The team members experience ranges from very little experience to a lot of experience. The NZ Shred team believes this is a “great way to play in a team atmosphere and also get a feeling for competitive hockey.”
Many know NZ Shred for their frequent blogging, fun contests, dedication to quality over quantity products and of course, their small sports teams. NZ Shred is very active and believes that getting out and being active is important. NZ Shred has teamed up with Hammils Restaurant in the past to sponsor an indoor volleyball team and a rugby team.
About NZ Shred:
NZ Shred was the first dedicated retailer of snowboards in New Zealand. NZ Shred was founded in the mid 1980’s by the Reeser Family. It was originally located in O’Connell’s Pavilion but has now moved to Shotover Street in Queenstown. Jase John and Jon Wilson took over NZ Shred and introduced its online shop.
