Regina Braun - self published author of Delicious Coconut Flour Desserts - announced yesterday that she will be working with a few big brands to do a pressure cooker recipe series on her blog Leelalicious.com. This isn't the first time Braun - a popular health-food-blogger - has worked with big name brands but insists this will be extra special."Pressure cookers have been in and out of fad for decades. In fact, it first became popular in the seventies but - because they were pretty dangerous at the time - they lost their popularity" says Braun.
"The good news is that the fad is back and it looks like it's here to stay. People - especially wives that are often expected to cook - are busier now than they have ever been throughout history. They simply do not have time to spend hours in the kitchen to prepare food like their mothers did. Even if they could, why should they?"
Braun says the new-found-love for pressure cookers is largely because it allows people to cook delicious meals in mere minutes that would have otherwise taken hours. "It is truly revolutionary technology. It is no less healthy than the food our grandmothers used to cook and some would argue it is just as delicious."
"The good news is that these pressure cookers aren't even all that expensive anymore. In fact, some of the best electric pressure cookers are under two hundred dollars. The ridiculous amount of time they save makes them a no-brainer investment for frequent home cooks. At least that is my professional opinion and I am sticking to it." giggled Braun.
Although not one hundred percent sure when she will start the pressure cooker series, Braun says her readers will start seeing posts about it beginning early 2017 some time.
"There are still a lot of details needing my consideration before I start the series, but I am super excited. I know my awesome readers will appreciate it as well."
