The new opening hours mean that patients can choose from a range of weekend and evening appointments, which has been well received by those with day-time commitments, offering more choice and flexibility.

Cosmedics Skin Clinics in Bristol has announced extended opening hours to provide additional availability of appointments for their range of doctor-led skin treatments.

This announcement represents further expansion for the clinic, following the recent appointment of an additional doctor, who specialises in minor surgery and laser procedures for removing moles, cysts, skin tags, warts and lipomas.

Cosmedics’ founder, Medical Director and Aesthetic Doctor, Dr Ross Perry MBBS, comments:

“We are delighted to see the Bristol clinic go from strength to strength this year – firstly with the addition of a new doctor and now with additional appointment times to make it even easier for our patients to be seen with the minimum of waiting time.”

“Much of our work consists of removing skin blemishes and lesions such as moles, cysts, lipomas, warts and skin tags; for which patients are unable to get treatment on the NHS.”

“As a private company, it is important to us to provide excellent service. We have expanded availability so that patients can be seen as soon as possible and at a time that suits them. Appointment times are generous, so that patients can fully discuss their condition with the doctor or surgeon and if both parties agree to a particular treatment, it can usually be carried out in the same appointment as part of our ‘see and treat’ policy, saving the need for a return visit.”

“Our doctors and surgeons are trained in advanced pain-free techniques aim to minimise the appearance of any mark once healing is complete.”

“Having issues such as moles, cysts, skin tags or a stubborn wart is something that many patients put up with for years before seeking treatment; but when they have finally decided to take action, patients are keen to have the problem dealt with as quickly and effectively as possible. Our service is specifically designed with this in mind.”

The clinic also offers a popular range of cosmetic skin treatments, which have a loyal following of regular patients. Dr Perry continues:

“Many of our clients now have regular cosmetic treatments, such as wrinkle-relaxing injections, dermal fillers or procedures to improve the skin, in order to maintain a more youthful and attractive appearance that they can feel confident about. At Cosmedics Skin Clinics, we believe that these treatments are medical in nature and so we only offer treatment with specially trained doctors and surgeons, so that patients know they are in safe hands. Our style is very much about achieving a natural looking result which is nonetheless effective and pleasing to the eye.”
