Women’s Equality Day is a day every year that marks the ongoing struggle toward equal treatment of women in society, marking both the victories of the past and the challenges of the future. Katrina’s Dream has organized a 2nd Annual Women’s Equality Day 2016 Rally, which promotes the Three State Strategy for passing the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). Their progress will be charted online both before and after the event, on a website created by Zentrope to support their mission.Zentrope has helped provide technical support for the rally by offering website development and management, creating a seamless and fully responsive website architecture populated by high quality content. They are also heading up the social media and email marketing campaign associated with the rally, to ensure more people than ever know what is being fought for, and why it is so important.
The rally featured a speech by noted political science professor Dr. Kimberly S. Adams. She has participated in intensive campaign training seminars on women and politics, and grassroots mobilization. She has presented academic papers on women and politics at the state, national and international levels, and shared invaluable insights into the state of women’s equality and the opportunities for progress in the coming year.
