Winnipeg Home Care Services Company Sponsors Conference For Family And Friends Caring For A Loved One With Dementia
Winnipeg Canada – Partners for Home, Manitoba’s premier home care services Partner, is proud to announce that they were the keynote sponsor for the 2019 Care 4 U event, which took place on Saturday, October 26th at the Canadian Mennonite University, Winnipeg.
The event was designed as a day of learning, reflection, and connection, with the hope of helping family and friends learn about and deal with the complexities of dementia. In many ways, it is the friends and relatives of a patient are most in need of the support and help of professionals as they struggle to come to terms with the dramatic changes that dementia can inflict on a person they know and love.
The opening talk focused on exploring ‘The Role of Self-Compassion’, while the closing presentation was entitled ‘Is It Too Serious to be Serious?’

When we were asked to be a part of this conference, and sponsor the keynote, we had absolutely no hesitation. The event was a huge success, with lots of learning, support, and networking opportunities.
