Webinar Announced: Storm Preparation for Emergency Generators

The Fuel Professionals will host facility engineers for a panel discussion about preparing power generators for the upcoming storm season. This free webinar is on May 21, 2015, at 2:00pm CDT. Replays will be available.

The Fuel Professionals just launched a company-wide initiative to ensure hospitals, financial institutions, and telecommunications providers are prepared for the upcoming storm season. Emergency power systems are critical for these businesses during violent weather events and many facility engineers are unaware of the recent regulatory changes with their generator diesel, and how those changes will threaten generator start-up.

“The diesel of today is just not the same as it was five years ago. In fact, up to 30% of generators do not start during times of emergency. Facilities that depend on a generator during a power outage need to be aware that if diesel fuel has been sitting in their generator tank for over a year, then they are risking the integrity of their entire emergency power plan,” says Ward Campbell, owner of The Fuel Professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. “We are excited to be hosting a panel discussion so that facility engineers can learn of this risk and get their diesel fuel tested before it is too late.”

Join The Fuel Professionals for this panel discussion on Thursday, May 21st at 2:00PM CDT. This webinar is free and all attendees will receive a special fuel test kit just for participating. Facilities are just one electrical storm, tornado, or hurricane away from finding out the hard way that their diesel fuel quality was compromised. Webinar replays will be available.
