After graduation Dr. Voigt completed a general practice residency at Wood, VA hospital and entered private practice. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and is an active member of the Waukesha Dental Society having served as a board member. Dr. Voigt is also a member of the WDA and ADA.
Dr. Derek Schmidt now oversees day-to-day operations of Spring City Family Dental. He is a lifelong Waukesha resident who earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Michigan Technological University. While home from school on break, he worked for Oral Maxillofacial Associates of Waukesha as a surgical assistant. He earned his DDS from Marquette University School of Dentistry and is a member of the ADA, WDA, Waukesha County Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is very involved in the community and participates in the Mission of Mercy on a yearly basis.
Dr Schmidt recently reflected, “Over the years, we’ve gotten better at what we do here at Spring City Family Dental. Numerous patient success stories attest to this. I continue to feel motivated to do more for my community and humanity.”
