International architecture and interior design firm, Urbanistika, announced today expansion of its global presence, opening its first US office in Detroit
Urbanistika, an international architecture and interior design firm, has announced the opening of a new branch in Detroit, United States. The branch will give the firm the ability to directly serve clients in the United States for the first time.—
At a presentation announcing the branch's establishment, Tony Richardson, member of the Urbanistika Executive Council, said: “Our leading role in shaping new buildings while enhancing lives underlines our commitment to forging a new path in the United States through innovations, advanced technology, outstanding building design and professional support. Our clients benefit from a multicultural team of commercial and residential architects with worldly knowledge and experience.”
The office will be led by Tanja Bollman, a Detroit native. Mrs. Bollman comes to the company with an impressive background in both architecture and interior design. Mrs. Bollman will be responsible for leading the firm's Detroit team and overseeing all service and deployment aspects for its expanding client base in the region. “I am delighted to be a part of this newest office for Urbanistika and to the expansion throughout North America. The opening establishes our presence in Detroit Metro area and supports the firm's focus on expanding its design capabilities across the region,” says Tanja Bollman.
Urbanistika currently counts four branches in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; London, UK; Bucharest, Romania; and Detroit, United States. By establishing this new branch in the US, the firm aims to further expand its direct involvement in the United States, with expected new openings in New York, Houston and Philadelphia.
Some of the firm's notable work includes showrooms for Euro Floors London, leading supplier of wood flooring in UK; residential developments for LSA Construction, residential and commercial builder; and office spaces for Upvertising, marketing agency; as well as a significant number of commercial and residential projects in various cities in Malaysia.
