Created by co-founders Érica and Olivia, Mme L’Ovary’s goal is to inspire people who menstruate to feel comfortable about their bodies and health, providing them with the confidence to openly discuss their cycles and develop practices that are sustainable for both them and the environment. The company’s range includes menstrual panties for day wear and night wear, in six comfortable cuts, to fit optimally all day (and night). Each is made with breathable cotton and includes built-in protection that is similar to a panty liner. Unlike many reusable menstrual undies, one pair of Mme L’Ovary panties comes with 3 unique removable pads that are made with specially designed and researched leak-resistant fabric, designed to absorb flow throughout the day or night.
The absorbent pads are easy to change throughout the day, as each pair of panties comes with a small bag with two pockets – one for clean pads, and one for used pads. This way, wearers remain dry and comfortable without needing to change their underwear. Each pad is made up of three layers for total protection and is equivalent to a single disposable pad or tampon.
