Cetuvi, a new luxury designer handbag and art company, has been launched, offering customers the chance to get one of a kind, unique pieces to suit their style and needs. The 2019 handbag art company makes handmade bags from wood, leather, epoxy, and original artwork using a proprietary process.

Jefferson Pezzella, the founder and designer, creates his own unique pieces as original design or with existing art from artist collaborations.

No other handbag creation has combined the functional form tote or satchel with original, stunning oil on canvas artwork.

Jefferson Pezzella conceived the idea for Cetuvi handbags while living in Mexico and practicing minimalism. He has studied Portuguese, Brazilian literature, and Capoeira in Fortaleza, served as a professor’s assistant in Italy, and now lives in New Hampshire.

As the son of a blue-collar cabinetmaker, he never envisioned himself making or designing women’s handbags. However, his problem-solving pragmatism and artistic design shine through in each individual piece.

His bags are a product of his quest to make gallery-quality work while simultaneously serving as an interesting, moveable medium. While made to be used and enjoyed, each bag is a singular work of art.

The Cetuvi site states: “You don’t need big walls to hang your Cetuvi handbag or encase it in glass, but it’s singular, collectible art nonetheless. So he and his small team work tirelessly to launch new collections dreamed up in-house or conceived with like-minded artists who agree that art appreciation should be a daily pastime.”

Jefferson Pezzella said: “The idea of having two paintings, one on each side of the bags, is both a new and unique way to present art from various artists. It also gives me the ability to never run out of new ideas as long as I continue partnering with new artists.”
