Uncaged Ergonomics Announces Release Of New Wobble Stool

The latest version of the popular wobble stool features a thicker cushion for enhanced sitting comfort, reports www.uncagedergonamics.com

— There is a growing body of evidence suggesting that prolonged sitting increases the chances of developing serious health conditions such as metabolic syndrome or heart disease. Since office workers typically spend more than five hours a day sitting down in front of a desk, their health may be at risk if they're not increasing their activity level significantly outside of work. In response to concerns among office workers, Uncaged Ergonomics has released an even more comfortable wobble stool designed to keep people active even while sitting.

According to Sam, a company spokesperson, the latest version of the wobble stool functions in exactly the same way as the original chair, but it now has a thicker cushion with a dimple design that relieves pressure on the lower spine. "We think our customers are going to love this stool," said Sam, "and to celebrate the release, we've put it on sale for $30 off the MSRP. The sale is for a limited time only, so we're trying to get the word out."

Sam went on to describe the chair in more detail. "One of the features we really like is the adjustable height," he commented. "That makes the stool useful as either a regular desk chair or as a standing desk perch. At either height, the stool swivels a full 360 degrees, and it tilts back and forth, so you can't help but move around when you're sitting on it. We think they're a lot of fun, and the new plush seat is super comfortable."

Standing desks have become more popular in the workplace as people are becoming aware of the risks of sitting down all day. However, standing upright can cause back pain when people don't move around. According to Sam, "the wobble stool is the best standing desk stool because of the comfort and the full range of motion it provides. When people are able to twist their spines gently with the circular motion of the stool, they don't develop back pain."

In addition to the wobble stool, Uncaged Ergonomics offers a range of office furniture designed to improve posture and comfort and increase activity levels. Other popular products include adjustable height standing desks, anti-fatigue floor mats, keyboard trays that protect the wrists, and balance boards. Concluded Sam, "All of our products are designed to promote a healthier workplace. We believe that when people feel better, they're happier and more productive. We hope lots of customers will take the opportunity to try out our new and improved wobble chair while our sale is on."
