What is Suboxone®?
Tri-Cities Suboxone uses Suboxone medication to treat opiate addiction. It is an easy-to-administer prescription that dissolves under the tongue and is FDA approved. Suboxone consists of the two ingredients Buprenorphine and Naloxone. Buprenorphine is a partial agonist while Naloxone is an antagonist, which means they both work to prevent opioids from binding to receptors in the brain. This provides the patients relief from withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
