Toronto Pre-K & grade school Waldorf Academy announced its weekly Tea and Play Drop-in experiential event for parents and children aged 3 to 5. The event will be hosted by a teacher and involves baking bread, teatime with herbal tea, and playtime for the preschoolers.

Toronto Pre-K & grade school Waldorf Academy announced its weekly interaction event, the Tea and Play Drop-in. The event will be hosted by Robin Linton, a teacher at the academy and will showcase the school’s environment and learning approach.

The Tea and Play Drop-in event welcomes children from birth to 3 years old and their parents to experience the Toronto preschool’s unique academic approach at no charge. The event includes crafts, herbal tea, and playtime, as well as a tour of the childcare area and school campus with staff interactions and an overview of the institution’s interdisciplinary approach.


The school showcases its activity-based learning curriculum supported by the use of art, crafts, woodworking, gardening, concentrated topical lesson blocks, outdoor activity, long-term teachers, and student-authored learning. Waldorf Academy is a preschool, kindergarten, and grade school located near midtown Toronto offering holistic experiential education for grades 1 through 8.


The school also uses music, drama, and playtime as learning tools and environments where children are allowed to engage and discover knowledge.
