The tour will be managed by travel expert Merryl Chin and will take place between February 10 – 21 2018, towards the end of the Australasian summer. Tourists will enjoy various popular destinations, discover local landmarks under Ms. Chin’s guidance, and also have plenty of free time to explore on their own.
One of the important attractions of this tour is Rotorua, a scenic destination featuring the pristine rural landscape of Hobbiton, the hobbit village in “The Lord of The Rings” movie trilogy. Tourists will enjoy a two-hour guided tour of the set, with spectacular views to the scenic Kaimai Ranges.
“The Lord of the Rings” enthusiasts will also enjoy a private tour of various landmarks related to both the trilogy and “The Hobbit”. The tour includes a selection of Wellington’s most famous “The Lord of the Rings” locations, including the Embassy Movie theater where the “The Return of the King” premiered, and the forest where important scenes from the movie were filmed.
The 11-night tour will also take tourists through some of the most important destinations in Wellington and Sydney, including extensive city tours and a full-day tour of the Blue Mountains. The tour costs $5599 CAD per person.
