Thy Creature is a dark fantasy story adventure game based on the work of Marry Shelly’s novel, ‘Frankenstein: Or the Modern Prometheus’. The game deals with stories that were not fleshed out in detail from the original novel ‘Frankenstein.’ In the book, the ‘creature’, created by ‘Victor Frankenstein’, disappears as it was abandoned by Victor, its own creator. This got us thinking, where did the ‘creature’ go? What did it do afterwards? And now, the player becomes the ‘creature’ and climbs up an unknown tower to find its creator, ‘Victor Frankenstein’.
The story of Thy Creature unfolds in a mysterious ‘tower’ inspired by the attic of ‘Victor Frankenstein’: the very place he created his ‘creature’. Experience the unique dark fantasy setting that will draw you into the gothic world. The creature ascends the ‘Tower’ and faces many memories from the past. The ‘memories’ are remaining traces of ‘Victor Frankenstein, intertwined like a maze. Sometimes the maze may show you the way, or sometimes may attack you, to stop the ‘creature’ from ascending the ‘tower’. The ‘memories’ the creature faces, as it climbs up the tower are in fact the ‘trauma’ of the creature’s past. On each floor of the tower there awaits a boss (memory) which symbolizes the creature’s ‘trauma’. The ‘creature’ must overcome the bosses (memories) on each floor and ascend to the top of the tower to find its creator.

Thy Creature is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the games are set to produce and ship to all backers by September 2021. The starting price for one game is $15 USD.
