Strict qualifications were required for high placement on the Top Legend of Zelda T-Shirts List for December 2017. The T-Shirt Vault evaluated multiple criteria in order to narrow the field to the best 5 designs from hundreds of artists all over the world. Including, use of subject, design quality, popularity with fans and number of shirt sold. Five designs made the list of the top designs for December 2017. Designs are listed in no particular order.
#1 Linktron (Blue Variant) T-Shirt – Artist DJKopet’s Legend of Zelda Video Game & Tron mashup t-shirt design from their The Grid Series. Linktron features Link from Legend of Zelda imagined as a character in the popular movie Tron.
#2 Traditional Hero Of Time T-Shirt – Artist Donnie’s Traditional Hero Of Time design features a Japanese traditional artwork style of your favorite hero of time Link from Legend of Zelda.
#3 Hylian Warrior T-Shirt – Artist Ddjvigo has used a popular silhouette style to feature our favorite video game hero Link and the Triforce logo.
#4 Game of Masks T-Shirt – Artist Fernando Sala Soler’s design features the Legend of Zelda hero Link sitting on a throne surrounded by the video game’s worst villains. The style of the design is a mashup between Zelda and the popular television show Game of Thrones.
#5 Merry Linkmas (Ugly Sweater) T-Shirt – DJKopet’s Merry Linkmas design uses the recently popular Ugly Christmas Sweater style to show Link, Zelda, The Triforce and some reindeer in a holiday scene.
When discussing the reasons for creating the list, Ron Whitehead, Design Curator of The T-Shirt Vault said,
“This month’s top Legend of Zelda t-shirt design list for December was release early this month to help fans find that perfect Christmas gift. “
