The Szantho Law Firm Supports Save The Children

The Szantho Law Firm was established after founder Andras Szantho spent several years working in the Santa Fe District Attorney’s office. It was there that he saw the effects that hardship and disaster wrought upon children and families, and he established his firm in order to advocate for those affected by injury or death. It was with this same conviction to help others that he recently made a donation to Save the Children.

“The past several years have been marked by several challenges that affect children and families worldwide,” says Szantho. “Disasters and conflict have displaced thousands of children overseas, while here in the US high poverty levels can mean that some children will have no access to critical things. By donating to Save the Children I am assured that my donation goes where it is most needed, whether that is disaster relief overseas or for literacy programs here at home.”

Save the Children was established in England in 1919, and the first US chapters were formed in the early 1930’s. International aid efforts began during the Second World War to care for affected children. Since then outreach programs have continued to expand, and now Save the Children works with members in 120 countries to provide support for health, education, protection, disaster relief and more.

“Ensuring that every child has a promising future is important to society,” concludes Szantho. “I encourage everybody to do what they can, whether it is a donation, volunteering or otherwise working to ensure that today’s youth have a bright future.”
