The Standish will host a public whisky tasting event this coming Saturday, August 2nd 2:00-5:00pm. Everyone, with the taste or curiosity for whisky is invited to come.The whisky tasting event will feature BenRiach's 12 year old Sherry Wood. The single malt scotch whisky is recognized as the best available 12 year old single malt in China according to the China Whisky Guide 2013. In addition, the scotch whisky also won a Silver Outstanding Medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2009. It shows that this particular drink which originated in the UK has impressed a lot of palates.
Customers who purchase a bottle of The BenRiach's 12 year old Sherry Wood during the tasting event will also receive Benriach Classic Speyside Collection 5cl miniature free of charge.
Aged for twelve years, this single malt whisky is characterized to have an elegant and full taste with a silken delivery on the palate. BenRiach 12 Year Old has a floral and fruity nose with hints of vanilla and honey that is balanced with wood overtones. It gives a refined finish with a little spice and some hints of melted chocolate.
