According to the Population Reference Bureau, by 2060 there will be approximately 100 million Americans age 65 or older. This means that in the next four decades, the senior population is going to more than double. The rapid expansion is due to those born in the baby boom generation reaching retirement age and having longer lifespans than previous generations.With this increasing number of senior citizens and the high likelihood that at least 50 percent will need some type of senior care or assisted living services, the need for more, quality facilities is needed.
To help meet this growing demand, The Oaks at Liberty Grove is proud to announce the opening of their new retirement community in Rowlett, Texas.
"Our residential community is now officially opened to the public and we are offering managed care for seniors, alarmed security, an on-staff nurse and a wide array of entertainment and fitness programs for our residents," stated The Oaks at Liberty Grove spokesman Ron Lindemann. The number of seniors continues to grow, which makes the addition of this new senior care community invaluable to the city of Rowlett. As of 2016, the projected number of Texans in the immediate area to The Oaks at Liberty Grove was at 850,000. In 2018, that number is expected to be nearly 1 million making the need for senior care even greater than ever in the immediate area.
"We are currently accepting new residents and invite those in the surrounding area to stop by and take a tour of our assisted living community to see what we have to offer," continued Lindemann. "We are excited to be serving the city of Rowlett and look forward to getting to know each of our residents while helping to enhance their lives and provide the care they need."
