The Key Guys owner Brian Nystrom is a proud sponsor of “The Key Guys” Softball team, and “Pleased as punch” at their recent victorious season culminating in the team winning the 2018 Minnesota Class C Softball tournament.
“We have been sponsoring the team for some time,” Brian relates. “Last year they won the prestigious Firemen’s Cup, but this year they surpassed last year’s accomplishments and took State!”
Brian himself enjoys Softball, but is too busy these days running his business, “The Key Guys.” His firm is a specialty locksmith firm dealing solely with car keys and related work on car ignitions and doors when keys get stuck in them or when they no longer work properly.
“I am somewhat competitive myself,” Brian explains. “I like to go the extra mile to assist my customers and strive for excellence. That is what I like so much about the softball team. They go all out, and each and everyone one of the team members gives it their all.”

And like the softball team, which travels from one softball field to the next, The Key Guys’ vans travel throughout the metro area. “We offer ‘come to you’ service,” Brian explains. This means that their customers save money by not having to have their cars towed to a dealership or service station should their car keys get broken or lost.
“We are cheaper than the dealers on the actual cost to replace the key, and we save people money on the tow as well.”
