The Busy Bees Club is donating 10% of the NFT sales and royalties to support two programs run by Pollinator Partnership which help to support honey bees and other pollinators.

Giving back to the world is what The Busy Bees Club is all about. 10% of the NFT sales and royalties will be donated to nonprofits making efforts to help save the bees. A recent partnership was formed between The Busy Bees Club and Pollinator Partnership. The team at Busy Bees Club are giving the 10% of the donations to two of the programs being run currently.

Pollinator Partnership’s mission is to promote the health of pollinators, critical to food and ecosystems through conservation, education, and research. The team manages various programs to help encourage pollinator health, such as Bee Friendly Farming. In addition to that, the team also provides public and private partners with the tools needed to get involved. Some of their other signature initiatives include the North American Pollinator Protection Campaign, National Pollinator Week, and Ecoregional Planting Guides.

“Pollinators are important because they help the agricultural industry produce an estimated one out of every three bites of food that humans eat,” said a spokesperson for Pollinator Partnership. “Pollinators are in trouble largely due to loss of habitat, which can cause an unstable food supply, unhealthy ecosystems, and dramatic biodiversity loss. 85% of flowering plants on earth require the help of pollinators to reproduce.”

Pollinator Partnership’s Bee Friendly Farming program is one being supported by The Busy Bees Club. The program aims to help protect, preserve, and promote pollinators by working with landowners. It also works to balance crop production with the health of pollinators. In 2020 and 2021 alone, the program has grown to over 129,000 acres of certified bee-friendly farming. Through the program, landowners can put the certification logo on their products, which will help to add market value to their products.

The mysterious disappearance of bees called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) is a growing threat to honey bees, the mainstay of pollination services in agriculture. Pollinator Partnership’s Honey Bee Health Grant program focuses on ways to help Honey Bees and beekeepers. Funding is provided through various organizations such as The Busy Bees Clubs, which donates 10% of NFT sales to this program. The grant program aims to support more research on improving the health of honey bees and mitigating the threats they face.
