President / CEO of GB Mortgage Group, Rene Jacques, began working in real estate in 2003, after starting work at a title company in 2002. In 2005, he earned his broker’s license and worked 13 years in the industry for two mortgage companies. Before opening Golden Bay Mortgage Group, he was the top producing loan agent at each of those two mortgage companies during that time. He takes great pride in using the combination of experience in purchase transactions and real estate investment properties to help his clients find exactly the right property and get the best deal.

“The Athlete’s Advantage for Business Leaders” is the first book Jacques has authored. The book aims to show an athletes’ advantage in business- in taking what is taught through excelling in sports and applying it to business to dominate in that arena.
His book sets its primary focus on Commercial and Residential finance. The book’s cover art will be created by, and the book will be released by Authority Fusion.
Rene Jacques is originally from Oakland, California, and is now the owner of 3 different corporations. He earned a college scholarship to play Division 1 basketball at Sacramento State, and this led to a career in real estate, specifically mortgage brokering. This experience helped shape the creation of the book.
When asked why he wrote the book, Jacques said he wants to share his mission, which is to “Develop a relentless and unstoppable mindset that drives the pursuit of building a highly successful business. “
