Relentless entrepreneur, Nino Mihilli, founds tech startup non-profit, NMWWD.ORG, to save lives using technology-driven solutions

NMWWD.ORG is the latest project from innovative, relentless Entrepreneur, Nino Mihilli, as he looks to use technology to save the lives of drivers and other such road users with the launch of a mobile app. Currently, in Beta Testing, the mobile app is designed to prevent road accidents, particularly the ones caused by wrong-way driving, one download at a time.

According to a report released by the World Health Organization in December 2018, more than 1.35 million people die each year as a result of road traffic crashes. Road traffic injuries have also been identified as the leading cause of death for children and young adults aged between 5 and 29 years. In addition to road traffic causing the death of millions of people every year, these crashes also cost most countries as much as 3% of their gross domestic product, a whopping USD 518 billion globally. NMWWD.org is, however, looking to keep the road as safe as possible with the launch of its app aimed at preventing wrong-way driving.
NMWWD.org is an acronym that stands for No More Wrong-Way Driving. The app is designed to notify drivers when they are traveling on the wrong way of a street, freeway, or highway. The app takes over the phone, prompting the camera to flash, the device to vibrate, and a loud alarm to start buzzing. A flashing "Do Not Enter" logo will appear on the screen of the phone, all in a bid to ensure that the driver is aware of their wrong driving.

The app has already started to garner reviews from users across the globe. "This app saved my life!! I was in an Uber going to a comedy show in downtown Phoenix and the Uber driver went the wrong way on a one way straight and my phone started flashing and buzzing. He stopped right there and was like what was that. I said an app you're going the wrong way. He turned around and went the right way. At the end of the ride he downloaded the app. Everybody needs this app. Download it.," said Anna Loya. 5 Star Review.

NMWWD.org is currently looking for developers, coders, and donors to help contribute to the technology to keep it efficiently working and help save lives worldwide.

The app is in Beta Testing and is currently available on the App Store and Google Play for users of iOS and Android devices.
