‘Change Makers’ highlights Aimee Kisaboyun’s story of surviving a traumatic childhood and a life of heartache to come out on top

Certified life coach and mentor Aimee Kisaboyun knows what it’s like to live a chaotic life.

She survived a childhood full of trauma, abandonment, and instability. She bounced from poor to rich to poor again, from fine dining with billionaires to eating scraps. She survived near-fatal health traumas while fleeing foreign lands with just the clothes on her back.

Through it all, she was able to rise up again and again.

Kisaboyun survived by learning how to become a master at flexibility while troubleshooting life's mishaps. Today, she is an internationally-minded serial entrepreneur who works with her clients to set and reach goals related to self-management and self-discovery.

Kisaboyun is one of 25 women featured in the new book “Change Makers: 25 Transformational Stories From Women Making An Impact In The Lives Of Others (Volume Book 4).” The book contains chapters written by women sharing their own authentic stories, in their own words, and with their own unique vision for impact.

“My own journey taught me how to lead others through adversity,” she said. “I believe when there isn't a crystal-clear sense of one's purpose, there is a loss of vision in terms of how to lead ourselves and become solid role models for others.”

In her coaching, Kisaboyun employs a purposeful leadership formula she pioneered called "People of Courage.”

“I believe women lead best by nurturing others around them,” she said. “This type of leadership rewards us in return with energy and overall well-being and can prevent us from developing physical issues. This is very much my style of leadership, and it is much-needed in our world today.”

Released in September, Change Makers is already a top-ranked bestseller topping multiple Amazon charts in Australia, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

“Knowing that others have read our stories and helped our book become a bestseller is very humbling,” Kisaboyun said.

Kisaboyun was invited to share her story by Emma Hamlin, the book’s publisher and founder of Change Maker Press. Hamlin, herself a bestselling author, publisher, and strategic book coaching and branding expert, founded her company to provide a space for innovative and inspiring women to be seen and heard.
