Switch is the world’s first chassis switchable smart watch. This lets the user have the ability to change not only the strap but also the bezel design in its entirety as one unit in terms of aesthetic, material, structural and mechanical design, thereby completely changing its appearance. In terms of economic standpoint, it also lets the user switch to a completely new design watch reducing the cost to half as compared to purchasing a completely new design watch product.
Part A of the Switch smart watch is the universal electronic module. It is made of matte finish metallic casing enclosing all electronic components of the smart watch. Part B are the various design chassis which are the bezel attached to straps as a single unit in its entirety. The universal module is taken and inserted into the chassis from the bottom end and pushed in upwards motion until its fixed. The inner walls of the chassis bezel consists of silicone strip padding. Due to the interference between the matte finish of the universal module and the silicone strip, compression and frictional forces come into play. Due to these forces the universal module is securely fastened and does not fall down and neither can it fall outwards due to the bezel material blockage at the top end.
The Switch smart watch is sold as a sports edition base product as a complete unit with electronic module assembled with sports chassis. It starts as a sports smart watch ensuring the user receives necessary functions at hand with black matte finish making it very sporty looking. Switch repels dust and sweat for sports activity making it built for performance. For wearing the Switch smart watch on different occasions, the user may purchase various chassis designs as per their liking to ensure the consumer has the right looking watch for the right occasion. Switch has 25 watch faces, the ability to call, read message and phone notifications, track steps, distance, and calories burnt.

Switch is available to back now on Indiegogo. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by September 2020. The starting price for one Switch smart watch is $149 USD.
