Miranda as 2017 Rising Star attorney by the industry standard rating service Super Lawyers. Each year the service selects peer-nominated lawyers with outstanding records.

Williams Law Group, LLC from Short Hills, NJ, is proud to announce the selection by Super Lawyers rating service of Senior Associate Victoria D. Miranda, Esq. as a “Rising Star Attorney” for 2017.

Each year, Super Lawyers recognizes the top lawyers in New Jersey via a patented multi-phase selection process involving peer nomination, independent research and peer evaluation on 12 indicators. The New Jersey lawyers who receive the highest point totals during this selection process are further recognized in New Jersey’s Super Lawyers Top Lists. It is worth noting that only 2.5% of attorneys entered get selected as Rising Stars, a category representing candidates 40 or younger, with a maximum of 10 years of legal practice.

The firm’s founder and managing partner Allison C. Williams commented on the selection, mentioning that “Ms. Miranda is an outstanding young family law attorney, with an exceptionally strong drive to master Family Law, as well as to ensure her clients obtain the best possible legal representation to win their case. This nomination as a top rated young family law attorney is well deserved.”

Attorney Victoria D. Miranda joined Williams Law Group, LLC as an associate in early 2014. She focuses exclusively on Child Welfare and Family Law matters. Her legal experience includes advocating for various family law matters, including child abuse and neglect, child custody and parenting time, child support and domestic violence.

When asked how she felt about the selection, attorney Miranda said she is very passionate about reunifying children with their families when removed by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P, formerly known as DYFS). “The desire to reunify families really drives me to do all I can to achieve the best possible outcome for my clients in their particular situation. I am honored that my skill and devotion to this area of law has been recognized by my peers, and this award only strengthens my will to remain the staunch advocate I am and will continue to be for my clients.”
