The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 list is created each year by the independent organization. It is invitation-only, and inclusion one year does not guarantee inclusion the next. The NAOPIA’s Top 10 Under 40 also recognizes new personal injury attorneys each year for inclusion. NAOPIA selects only personal injury lawyers, whereas NTL creates lists for both civil and criminal justice lawyers.

Steve Fifield is an Associate Attorney at the Rocky McElhaney Law Firm. He focuses primarily on personal injury and workers’ compensation, and fights on behalf of injured workers who have been denied Medicare care by their insurance companies. Mr. Fifield is a member of the Tennessee Association for Justice, the Nashville Bar Association, and the Tennessee Bar Association, and a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the TBA.
