With the latest announcement, the dentist aims to provide patients and staff protection against any infection and virus by adhering to the health agencies’ recommendations. The dental center is dedicated to serving its patients with the highest quality of dental care service by using the latest equipment and facilities in dental technology.
During the pandemic, several safety measures were put into place by the American Dental Association (ADA) to ensure the protection of dental care staff and patients. Since Sterling Dental Center reopened its doors after the lockdown, it has also followed the guidance of every infection control recommendation made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
At the office, every patient is assigned a treatment coordinator who is responsible for the patient’s dental needs. Patients will be asked some screening questions before their appointments and at the beginning of their visit. As the center has patients of all ages, comprehensive precautions are taken to make sure every patient is adequately protected against infection.
For the safety of patients, there are hand sanitizers in every room, including the reception room. Patients are asked to apply hand sanitizer as soon as they enter the office. All the utilized instruments are sterilized using the recommended methods of ADA and OSHA after every treatment. Appointments are carefully scheduled to prevent reception room crowding.
